Our crew did the line producing of one of the biggest brands in India.
Amul, having 65% share in the Indian market, filmed their last TV Commercial in Istanbul, Turkey. Nearly the whole crew, including production, DoP, cast, lighting department, hair & make up artists were hired from Istanbul.
Kailash Pictures of Mumbai, having made more than 2000 commercials in the last 15 years, were amazed by the diversity of filming locations in istanbul and happy working with the local Turkish crew.
The commercial will on air by the middle of April, 2013.

We helped HGTV's popular show House Hunters International filming in Istanbul last week. Due to the snow storm in London, the English crew had to face a flight cancellation and 2 very long delays. Even though the team had to spend 15 hours at Heathrow Airport for Istanbul, dedicated efforts of everyone involved helped filming to work out smoothly but in the end everyone was exhausted!
The episode will witness Vural and Taneya Cifci's house hunt in Istanbul, moving to Turkey all the way from United States.

Last week, I was given a very last minute call from Cherry Jordan, the Production Manager of Blakeway Productions to help them fix an interview with Mr. Hossein Mousavian, an Iranian policymaker who has served on Iran’s nuclear diplomacy team in negotiations with the EU.
Only 14 hours before the interview; all the equipment, locations and permits were fixed and everyone was surprised how smoothly the filming all went.
For now, this happens to be my personal best for the last minute works.
War Games will be on air Nov 5th, 2012.

Last month, we had the privilage to offer production services in Istanbul for the tv commercial of Panasonic's new Lumix G5.
London based still life photographer Andy Barter exchanged the calm and controlled environment of his studio for the fast-paced streets of Istanbul to test the capabilities of Lumix G5.
We have spent a week filming long hours in Istanbul and I finally started to see the results.
There is a lot more to come soon.

Today, I have the excitement to finally see some photos of my dear client and friend Marika Dee, in her recent project Deadly Jeans.
Marika contacted me long before she would visit Istanbul to make a photo documentary on the issue of sandblasting in Turkey. We have met the victims of silicosis, diagnosed among most of the "denim workers" who had to work under very unhealthy conditions, until it was strictly banned in 2009.
Unfortunately, silicosis is an incurable and often deadly disease. Even though sandblasting is banned in Turkey, the production moved to some poorer countries, and I believe that Marika's work on the issue is very important to make people aware on the case.

This june, I had the privilage to work with a lovely Canadian documentary team, coming all the way from Montreal to shoot a Turkey episode for their show Le Sexe Autour Du Monde aired on TV5.
We have spent a week together, shooting in İstanbul and İzmir, interviewing a lot of nice people including authors, historians, lovely belly dancers, lgbtt members and their families. At the end of a busy week, I drove the crew from İzmir to Ayvalık to take the boat for Lesbos, Greece. They had to shoot another episode for the show, at the other side of Aegean Sea.
Right after they were back home, i received this lovely letter below.
These people do enjoy their work. The episode we have shot is going to be aired later this year. Looking forward to see the results.
